Bend your fingers to replicate gripping a boom. You’ll find that inside the knuckles the shape is far closer to a “V” than a semi-circle. Aeron’s development team discovered this shape on the inside of the boom not only feels more comfortable, it also reduced “over-gripping” that can lead to forearm cramps during long sessions. Sizes 140 to 160 have tail ends for the LoopNgo, whilst 180 and above have the pulley system for adjustable outhaul.

This extruded alloy “Slim V” shape on the inside of the arms brings phenomenal stiffness, narrowing the gap in performance between alloy and carbon booms.
