Aeron Alloy HD29

Stiff, tough and light, the HD29 is amongst the toughest standard shape alloy booms in the world. It features a wider tail profile and new housing, the 180 and 200 have tapered boom arms to further maximise stiffness and durability. Sizes 130 to 160 have tail ends for the LoopNgo, whilst 180 and above have the pulley system for adjustable outhaul.

Where some riders prefer the SL26’s narrow grip, others favour the 29mm diameter offered by this boom. It’s popular with the holiday centres, where booms need to last through a season of heavy regular use.

The 200-260cm size fits neatly into the quiver of many freeride and slalom riders, covering large sails up to around 9.5m.
